Deine Aufgaben als Sous Chef
Duties: To oversee the daily Hot Galley operation, safe food handling of the personnel. Supervise preparation and presentation during service hours, to control traffic in the Hot Galley Take active part in the actual food preparation. Ensure that products are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards.Train, coach, council, support and delegate all of the Hot Galley Staff.
Position Requirement: Culinary Institute Diploma or Chef Certification or other relevant apprenticeship required, or a minimum of three (3) years proven experience in a luxury international hotel property food operation as Sous Chef or three (3) years experience in the luxury cruise ship industry in a similar position preferred. A sound knowledge of culinary arts and fine dining is required. Very good spoken English, Good communication skills. Good organizational skills and must show attention to detail.
Terms and Conditions: Our ships are sailing worldwide. Our contract is up to 5 months with salary in USD only paid while onboard. Medical insurance while onboard. Free accommodation, food and travel arrangements. We require all crew to join with C1D visa, STCW course, Medical examination, yellow fever vaccination included.
